ELAN VILLAMOR

Elan Villamor, aka Bongbong was born in Manila, Philippines. His mother hails from Odiongan, Romblon and his father from Asturias, Cebu. At the age of 13, he moved to the US to stay with his Tita in West Virginia where he went spent his high school years.  He returned home for college and received a BS in Tourism at the University of the Philippines. After graduating, he returned to America where he first lived in New York City, Later, he moved to Chicago. It was in Chicago where he met his husband Todd. His career spans from working at advertising agencies as a Photo Producer to working in the wine industry as a Wine Educator. He is currently a wine educator at Walt Wines in Sonoma, CA .  Elan also does Social Media and Events for the Coombsville Vintners and Growers  Association in Napa.

His passion for travel started at a young age and he has traveled extensively all over the Philippines and around the world.

His love includes wine, Italian greyhounds, photography, mid- century modern architecture and design. On Sundays, you will either find him at the Sebastopol Dog Park or riding his scooter around wine country with the PostMods Scooter Club.  Come say “kamusta” to him! He is fluent in Tagalog so if you need help translating any words from English to Tagalog, you got the MAN! “MANong” that is!
